Bulk Logging
How to log units across multiple days at once
When you have a stack of visit reports for the same patient, bulk logging saves time.
How to Bulk Log
- Select multiple empty days using drag, Shift+Click, or Cmd/Ctrl+Click
- The bulk log form appears in the detail panel
- For each billing code, set the units and choose the caregiver
- Click "Save Units" to log all selected days at once
What Gets Included
- Only empty (unlogged) days that aren't on hold will be included
- Hospital days are included — you may need to adjust units for those
- Each schedule/billing code gets its own row in the form
- The caregiver is set once per billing code and applies to all selected days
Multi-Schedule Patients
For patients with multiple billing codes (e.g., G0156 + T1019), the bulk log form shows a separate row for each code. You can set different units and caregivers per code.
A patient can also hold two schedules under the same billing code, worked at
different times of day. Those get a row each, labeled with their shift so you can
tell them apart, for example G0156 (8:00am-12:00pm).
Logging only some of the schedules
When more than one schedule is in play, the preview table puts a checkbox on each column heading. All of them are ticked to begin with. Untick one and it is left out of the save entirely, so you can log the morning visits now and come back to the afternoon ones when those timesheets arrive.
Two things follow from that:
- The unit total on Save Units counts only the ticked schedules
- A schedule you have unticked does not need a caregiver, so it will not hold up the save of the ones that do
Untick every column and the save switches off, telling you Select at least one schedule to log.
The fastest workflow: drag across a full week of empty days, set the units and caregiver, and save. One click instead of five.
